DC CORE
Manage infrastructure across multiple sites.
An office, a hosted application environment and a remote facility may need different management tools. Central can bring their supported devices into one view while access and operational responsibility remain explicit.
Organise a rollout around each site’s job.
For two offices and a hosted server group, begin with a representative device in each environment. Check online reporting, available telemetry and one approved management task before enrolling the remaining systems.
Validate one device at each site.
- Group the devices. Record each site’s devices, organisation, owner and role. Include separately enrolled VMs as individual devices; use names that distinguish similar hosts across locations.
- Check each network. Validate outbound access and local service requirements at every site. Success at one office does not establish that another site’s filtering and permissions are the same.
- Assign and test access. Give operators the required organisation and device permissions. Test a representative Windows or Linux device at each site, then confirm the monitoring and response owner.
Use Central for the setup and management tools.
Sign in to Central for the package and deployment instructions for your machine. Supported management paths use outbound agent connections, so public inbound management ports are not normally required. Your local network and target services retain their own access controls.
Central starts at £10/month for five devices, excluding VAT. See pricing and inclusions and check supported platforms.
