The headless musl build works across a wide range of Linux distributions, including systems that do not meet the GNU build’s library requirements. Choose the package for your processor and environment using the setup information in Central. A build baseline does not guarantee support for every distribution.

Monitoring, private connectivity, remote-management and backup tools depend on the installed agent and your permissions. Headless Linux does not provide a graphical desktop. Desktop sessions need a supported graphical environment; native SSH needs an SSH service and credentials. Windows Home cannot host native Microsoft RDP. Explore access options.

Installation and network access.

Install with administrator or root privileges and enrol the device into your organisation. Supported management paths use outbound agent connections; a public inbound management port is not normally required. Local services retain their own firewall and authentication requirements.

Central provides the package, installation, removal and outbound connection requirements for your deployment. Ask your IT team to review them if outbound access is restricted.
