Get started with Central on Linux.

Add your Linux servers and devices to Central. Your organisation’s installation and enrolment instructions are available when you sign in.

Before you start.

Choose a Linux build for your processor: x86-64 or ARM. The musl headless build is designed for broad distribution compatibility. The GNU build uses an Ubuntu 24.04 baseline and needs compatible system libraries. Installation requires appropriate root privileges.

Check supported platforms.

Set up your machine in Central.

  1. Sign in and select the setup information for your machine.
  2. Install the agent and enrol it into the correct organisation.
  3. Find the device in Central and check that it is online.

Public inbound management ports are not normally needed. For restricted outbound networks, use the connection requirements in Central. The setup information also covers removal; contact support if you need help.
